Service Description

Hone your casting technique with a personalized lesson from a 40-year fly fishing veteran. As a public school teacher for 30 years, I have taught hundreds of youngsters how to cast a fly. Any of my fishing trips offer as much casting instruction (or as little) as you like. I can offer instruction at a variety of levels: -Beginner -basic casting stroke -managing the line -"stops" and tracking -Intermediate -increasing your distance (50+ feet) -hauling (single, double) -"drift" -controlling loop shape for varying conditions -Advanced -even more distance (75+ feet) -handling heavy wind (a must for saltwater and lake fishing) -shoointg tapers
